How do we begin?

  1. The parent or student submits a New Client Contact Information form.

  2. We talk on the telephone to assess the family’s need. Our services can range from a flat fee, full-service program with spanning several years to a few discrete coaching sessions.

  3. When the family engages Learning Associates for a first consultative session they send in records (grades, standardized test results, Learning Evaluations and Psychological Evaluations, etc) for a detailed review. Arrangements for the consultative session are confirmed.

  4. When the records have been received, reviewed and analyzed, a consultative meeting with the family is scheduled to explain the process as it applies to the particular student. If further testing is warranted, it is recommended.

  5. If the family decides to engage Learning Associates, arrangements are confirmed in writing and another appointment is set for the first meeting

  6. The follow-up meeting with the student launches the coaching relationship with a discussion of the college application process and establishment of an initial individualized timeline.
